How to Grab Potential Clients’ Attention This Fall
It’s officially the 4th quarter of the year, and your potential clients are thinking about the goals they haven’t met…
The projects they haven’t started… and the results they need to show before the year ends, which is right around the corner.
And they’re not distracted by the holidays - at least not yet.
That’s why now through mid-November is the optimal time to offer your help…
With good outreach and follow-up.
I’m already seeing more outreach “wins” in my Simplest Marketing Plan community.

They’re doing their outreach and it’s working (of course!).
If you’d like some wins of your own this season, it’s time to do yours - and it needs to be good.
What is “good” outreach?
It’s quite simple, actually.
Good outreach has 3 qualities:
- It’s human.
- It’s honest.
- It’s real.
What else? Tell me what “good outreach” is to you here.
When it’s good, you can feel it.
- It’s clear and direct.
- It doesn’t sound desperate.
- It doesn’t pretend it’s not outreach.
- It doesn’t pretend you don’t want anything.
- It’s light and conversational.
- It feels like you’re speaking to another human being.
- It’s personalized, but not forced.
And when it’s bad, you can feel it, too, right?
So who will you reach out to today? How can you connect with them in a way that’s human, honest, and real?
In the next issue I’ll talk about the even-more-important piece most people avoid:
Follow-Up. 😱 😉
Stay tuned.
